1. Introduction
Welcome to Truck Lounge ("Truck Lounge", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Truck Lounge website, mobile applications, APIs, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
Truck Lounge is a community-driven platform that helps professional truck drivers locate truck parking areas, truck services, and related facilities while allowing users to contribute information that improves the quality of the Service for everyone.
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or submitting any content, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into binding agreements under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
By using Truck Lounge, you represent that:
you are at least the minimum age required by applicable law;
you have the legal authority to accept these Terms;
the information you provide is accurate;
you will use the Service only for lawful purposes.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Your Account
Certain features of Truck Lounge require a registered account.
You are responsible for:
maintaining the security of your account;
protecting your login credentials;
keeping your account information reasonably up to date;
all activities performed through your account.
Truck Lounge uses Firebase Authentication for secure account management.
You agree not to:
impersonate another person;
create accounts using false identities;
share your account with other individuals;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts.
Truck Lounge reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities.
4. Community Contributions
Truck Lounge is largely based on information contributed by its users.
Users may voluntarily submit:
truck parking locations;
truck service locations;
parking occupancy reports;
parking safety votes;
ratings;
reviews;
moderation reports;
corrections;
other community-related information.
You are solely responsible for the information you submit.
By contributing content, you confirm that:
the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
you have the right to submit it;
it does not violate applicable laws;
it does not infringe the rights of third parties.
Truck Lounge may review, edit, hide, reject, or remove user-generated content where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the Service or comply with legal obligations.
5. Parking Occupancy Reports
Truck Lounge allows users to report current parking occupancy.
Occupancy reports are intended to provide an approximate indication of parking availability for other users.
By submitting a report, you agree that:
reports should reflect actual conditions observed by you;
intentionally false or misleading reports are prohibited;
automated or scripted submissions are prohibited;
repeated abusive submissions may result in account restrictions.
Truck Lounge may aggregate multiple reports using internal algorithms to improve reliability.
Displayed parking status represents an estimation and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of available parking spaces.
6. Parking Safety Voting
Users may submit safety votes for parking locations.
Safety indicators displayed within the Service represent aggregated community opinions and are provided for informational purposes only.
Truck Lounge does not independently verify every safety assessment submitted by users.
Users should always exercise their own judgment and remain responsible for their personal safety.
Truck Lounge shall not be liable for decisions made based solely on community safety indicators.
7. Reviews and Ratings
Users may submit reviews and ratings regarding parking areas and truck services.
Reviews should:
reflect genuine personal experience;
remain respectful;
avoid offensive, abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory language;
avoid publishing personal information about other individuals.
Truck Lounge reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable law.
The opinions expressed in reviews belong solely to the respective users and do not necessarily reflect the views of Truck Lounge.

8. User Responsibilities
By using Truck Lounge, you agree to use the Service responsibly and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree to:
provide accurate information whenever reasonably possible;
respect other users;
comply with applicable laws and regulations;
use the Service only for its intended purposes;

You remain solely responsible for all content submitted through your account.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
submit intentionally false information;
manipulate parking occupancy reports;
manipulate parking safety ratings;
create fake reviews;
use automated systems, bots, or scripts to submit community content;
interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Service;
reverse engineer or exploit vulnerabilities of the platform;
upload malicious software or code;
harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
publish unlawful, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or obscene content;
infringe intellectual property rights of others;
impersonate another individual or organization.
Truck Lounge may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or permanent termination of accounts.
10. Moderation
Truck Lounge reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review, moderate, edit, hide, restrict, or remove user-generated content where reasonably necessary.
Moderation may be performed in response to:
user reports;
suspected abuse;
technical validation;
legal requirements;
protection of the integrity of the Service.
Truck Lounge is not required to review every submission before publication.
Content moderation decisions are made at the reasonable discretion of Truck Lounge.
11. Verification of Community Content
Truck Lounge combines official information, publicly available data, and community contributions.
Although reasonable efforts are made to improve data quality, Truck Lounge cannot guarantee that any parking location, service, review, occupancy report, safety indicator, operating hours, pricing, availability, or other information is complete, accurate, or up to date.
Users should independently verify important information before relying on it.
Truck Lounge should not be considered an official source of governmental, regulatory, or emergency information.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, graphics, databases, text, and other original content, is owned by Truck Lounge or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to users.
You may use the Service only as expressly permitted by these Terms.
You may not:
copy substantial portions of the Service;
reproduce or redistribute proprietary content;
modify or create derivative works from protected materials without authorization;
use Truck Lounge trademarks without prior written permission.
Open-source software and third-party content remain subject to their respective licenses.
13. License Granted by Users
By submitting User Generated Content through Truck Lounge, you grant Truck Lounge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to:
store;
reproduce;
display;
publish;
distribute;
modify where reasonably necessary for formatting, moderation, translation, or technical compatibility;
use such content for operating, improving, and promoting the Service.
You retain ownership of your original content.
This license continues only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service and preserve the integrity of community-generated information.
If your account is deleted, personal identifiers associated with your contributions will be removed or anonymized where technically and operationally appropriate, as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Availability of the Service
Truck Lounge strives to provide reliable access to the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
maintenance;
software updates;
technical failures;
network interruptions;
third-party service outages;
circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Truck Lounge may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Truck Lounge disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties relating to:
merchantability;
fitness for a particular purpose;
non-infringement;
uninterrupted availability;
accuracy or completeness of community-generated information.
Truck Lounge does not warrant that:
every parking location exists or remains available;
reported occupancy accurately reflects current conditions;
safety indicators guarantee personal safety;
all reviews are accurate;
the Service will always operate without interruptions or errors.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Truck Lounge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of the Service.
This includes, without limitation:
loss of profits;
loss of business opportunities;
loss of data;
interruption of business;
navigation decisions;
parking availability decisions;
safety-related decisions based on community information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
Truck Lounge may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe that you have:
violated these Terms;
engaged in fraudulent or abusive conduct;
attempted to compromise the security or integrity of the Service;
used the Service in an unlawful manner.
Termination of an account does not automatically remove all user-contributed content.
Where appropriate, personal identifiers associated with community contributions may be removed or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Certain provisions of these Terms, including those relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and applicable law, shall survive termination.
18. Changes to These Terms
Truck Lounge may update these Terms from time to time.
When material changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date displayed at the beginning of this document.
Where required by applicable law, additional notice may be provided.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the operator of Truck Lounge, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Where permitted by law, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts applicable to the operator of the Service.

21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional legal notices published within the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Truck Lounge regarding your use of the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Any failure by Truck Lounge to enforce a provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other rights.
